I've got a Singer XL 1000 and I'm enjoying it tremendously. Nothing but good! I've had other brands of sewing machines and serger and I'm not stepping away from Singer ever again!

I'm not fond of Singer machines. My first embroidery machine was the Quantum XL 1000. It was nothing but trouble, always in the shop. Maybe I was just unlucky. Nevertheless, I would never buy another one.

I have a XL5000, my first embroidery machine, I love it!

The XL5000 is my first machine...therefore I didn't know what to compare it to. I just bought it caused it threaded it's own needle. And I can honestly say that after 4 years of doodling around with it, the only reason it ever went to the shop was cause I wasn't smart enough to know that you have to change your needles every so often. My only wish is it could cut the jump stitches, but spending $4000 for a machine that does, is not practical. I spent a weekend at a workshop using the Innovis 4000 and we had to open 3 boxes before we found a machine that would work! Then they tried to sell us the machines for $7900 each, with a one year manufacturer's warranty! I will keep my Singer til it's dying stitch!
