tres bonne machine

this is a fantastic machine, I love it and am amazed at all the stuff you can do with.

I love this sewing machine. It is easy to use and embriodery designs are beautiful. Jeanne

The pivoting in perfect positioning makes this the best embroidery machine on the market IMHO, plus you get the IDT and the ability to create menus and all the stitches you can dream of!

I have a pfaff 2170 I am having trouble with the cutter, the supplier says it is the thread I am using. "Airplane" Has anyone else had this problem

I' m just learning about mine. Never got to take the lessons. Just ordered the endless hoop so any suggestions will be helpful .

I confess I AM a pfaffie and my newest machine is a 2140 and LOVE it to pieces. It does wonderful embroidery and has so much easy on screen editing. 2 of its best features is being able to take the stitch count back to THE EXACT stitch anywhere in the design by simply typing in that stitch number...and the infinite rotation positioning. Though I still have a 20 year old pfaff i cant part with either...and use regularly too.

I have a 2144, upgraded to a 2170. Love all of the features. the 4D software is fun abd easy to use.

have 2144 updated plus 3D having fun ditigtising love the way designs sew out with all types of threads including metalics

I have the 2170 and I love it!!!!Still learning the ins and outs but the stitches are perfect.

I have a pfaff 2170 and my cutter dose not work with some threads like moon but have never had a thread cutter on any other machine so just use thread knife as always have. trouble is I never sew on it it is always used for embrodiery. Every one is getting things for christmas from it.

I have the 2170 and love it. If I could do it though I'd upgrade to the CV. For the cutter problem, try eithr cotton embroidery thread or buy the Magna-Glide prewounds. They have a magnitized center and don't keep spinning when the bobbin stops moving. The problem is that the thread stretches when it is poly and then the cutter cuts it too short.

I have the old 1475 Pfaff and the 2170 with the 3D software...I am really having a hard time learning digitizing, the shop I bought the machine from do not really know the digitizing part of the software, the online classes I have taken do not deal exactly with Pfaff software. Any ideas about where to learn more about digitizing. Thanks, I would love to get the new CV too...and the 4D software...sometime maybe.

I have a Pfaff 1475 ( oldie), 2140 and the new Creative Vision. I had problems with the cutter with Sulky, but switched to Robison Anton and Madiera (?) and have have no problems with either the 2140 or new CV

by mpatterson 18 Jan 2008 I have the CV for about 3 mo. Just started classes. Iam having a lot of problems with my laptop loosing connection with the sewing machine. SOS was part of the package when I bought it. They have not been helpful. Midge44614@sssnet.com

I have a 2144 and a 2170. They are the best machines I have ever used!

I have a 2170 and the new Creative Vision great machines very powerful. Will sew through the thickest of fabrics.......and not miss a stitch.

I learned to sew on a Pfaff in 7th grade. I have had many different brand machines since then. I now have 4 Pfaffs. The old workhorse 794 serger, and workhorse 1473 for construction, a 2124, and 2170 for embroidery. I love all of my machines and have never had a problem that wasn't operator error with any of them. I have no urge to upgrade to the Creative Vision. But I am looking at a multi-needle commercial machine cause I hate changing thread colors!!!!
