I have a great dealer who figured out what I needed and sold me the 300E with the Janome Digitizer Pro package. I love this machine, it's simple to use, the flash card takes my designs from the computer and plugs right into the machine, no fuss, and I can sew on my other regular Janome while the embroidery is doing its thing. Best buy Dear Hubby ever made, my dealer is a wonder, because she could have sold me a more expensive machine, we didn't know the difference.

I have just bought the 350E. It came with a cd, and i purchased a memory stick with a USB end. So user friendly. I can downlosd tons of free designs onto my computer, or use purchased designs on cards. I absolutly love it. Also bought a Janome 6260. Good strong machine. I can sew on a project while the 350E is doing it's thing. No waiting, and the price is definatly fair.

I got my machine for xmas from my husband in 05, it is easy to use very clever. I do not find it particularly noisy & yep I love it! Adds a new dimension to kids clothing & soft furnishing projects!

I cannot get my machine to stitch a complete design without the thread jumping out of the tension discs. I am VERY disappointed with it.

the tention disk is for winding the bobbin put it under the bar the disk is on to sew.

oigelcox by oigelcox 03 Mar 2009

Always thread machine with the foot in the up position to ensure that the thread is caught into the tension disks properly. I also use a free standing thread stand for larger reels of thread these are available at sewing machine shops. Hope this helps. Joyce

I have purchased mine secondhand as a trial to see if I get enough use to warrant puchase of the latest models - I find noisy at times but so far I have had no problems with the items I have stitched out

I bought this machine 3 weeks ago and find it a wonderful Machine. Very easy to use,and using embird software you can expand your designs by anning several patterns to one hoop and changing the sewing order soo that there are less changing of thread. Great machine. Great software program I have just seen this program demonstrated by a friend I now have to buy my coppy. its worth it wait in time and thread changes. Frogette

I really like the way you can use an ordinary compact flash card, reader & PC card holder, then just drag & drop downloaded jef designs onto it. Had the Brother PE150 before, you have to have buy their reader & cards - not cheap.

Lindasews, what are the differences between the 300E and the 350E? I am have a Simplicity Se2 which stitches out great but is limited to the 4x4 stitch field, although I do have a large hoop which permits stitching out multiples ofdesigns in one hooping .Each design must fit into a 4x4 area.I got to use a 300E at a seminar and I love the ease of stitch and its solid metal construction

I have a 350E the main differance is that the 350E has a built in USB port and the 300E doesnt. You can also buy a Giga Hoop and softwear for larger embroideries. Bought mine May 2008 and I use it every day with the hundreds of free patterns from the net. Cheers Joyce

I have Janome 300E. Absolutely love it. Mine made a horrible noise when I got it. I had it serviced under warranty, and it turned out that the bobbin case was too tight. After it was serviced, I have not had a problem since.

I have the 350E and also the 6600, this combination is fabulous! Able to embroider on one and sew my quilts on the other at the same time. Also just getting into Digitizer pro, is anyone out there also using this Janome program?

I have the 300E and really love it. Very user friendly and got me well and truly hooked. Husband bought it for me for my birthday (what a man) after seeing what it could do at an expo. What are the added features of the 350E that the 300E does not have?

I just used my 350e for the first time to embellish some Xmas stockings. My first try was a complete success using several different materials. Now, I'm hooked on embroidery! I see why having a separate embroidery machine makes sense. I was able to stitch up each stocking after it was embroidered and while the next stocking was being embroidered. Love my 350e!

I have both the 300e and 350e and love the 350e it has much better fetures than the 300e and i feel it has a better stitch quality i have hardly used the 300e since buying the 350e my daughters like the 300e though so will probably give it to them to use. The quality of the 350e is almost as good as the 11000.
